Police east of Toronto say a man has been charged with murder after a shooting at a GO Transit station left another man dead on Sunday.

Durham Region police say officers responded to an assist ambulance call at the station in Ajax, Ont., around 11:30 p.m.

They say when officers arrived, they found an unconscious male with gunshot wounds.

Police say Isaiah Little, 28, was taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre where he died from his injuries.

They say a 33-year-old Ajax man was arrested and charged with second-degree murder on Thursday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
